After dropping the kids off at my mom and dads' we had shiatsu at Pro Club and then checked in over at Willows Lodge http://www.willowslodge.com/index.html for our evening away. Even with us living so close to it, I'd never been over to Willows Lodge and I have to say it was really nice and totally worth the money. We got to stay in a special suite because we were dining at the Herb Farm that night. http://theherbfarm.com/ The room overlooked the herb garden used for the restaurant so you could see the chefs stopping by to grab things for the meals and everything had a cool eclectic decor. Our meal at the Herb Farm was amazing. We had a little framed sign on the table acknowledging our anniversary which was a nice touch. The staff was very friendly and did a good job of explaining each course as it came out. The wines were nicely chosen and since there were essentially something like 9 courses overall with wine for each one, they did a good job of not making you feel like you had to finish drinking all of them lol. 
They had these caramalized onion rolls for in between the different courses that were to die for. Jason was ready to take the basket of them home to keep.It was a late late night but if you havent ever been, it is really worth the money. The food is fantastic and coming from a glass is half empty kind of girl, there was nothing at all there to be irritable about. I just kept saying over and over again, Im so happy. This food makes me happy. Its all just so happy. Yum.
Today we used a gift card Tim and Debbie got us for Chateau St Michelle Winery http://www.ste-michelle.com/winery/tastingTours and as luck would have it, the Beach Boys were playing there the same day lol. No we didnt stick around for that but since we were the last tasting before the show we didnt have to pay for the tour we did and were able to go grab a nice bottle of port from the store. Go team Adams! :) 
This evening we were meant to go on the hot air balloon ride I bought Jason for his birthday but as luck would have it, Seattle decided to have random thunderstorms all day with just enough sun breakthrough to make you hopeful but in the end the company said we werent going up tonight.
So at some later date in the month I will have a post with pictures from a hot air balloon ride. Stay tuned.....
