A quick update

April is always one of our busiest months it seems. We have a bunch of annual events we do and then everybody and their mother has a birthday right now.. including Nathan and Ali. So here are some things we've been up to lately.

After one failed attempt, we finally caught UDUB's cherry blossoms in full bloom. Always a beautiful thing to behold.

We then ran the border and headed up to explore Canada. We stayed for a night in Vancouver to break up the trip then caught a ferry over to Vancouver Island and drove out to the coast. The resort we stayed at was beautiful but such a long drive. Good grief. Poor Nathan threw up just as we were arriving there. Ive been wanting to get the car detailed and good news is, vomit in the car really helps those dreams become a reality :) 

Then we headed back to Vancouver for another night and did the Easter Egg hunt at Stanley park. We had hoped to hit the Tulip festival on the drive back but the weird weather this year has the tulips late in their bloom so those pictures will come towards the end of the month. Overall the trip went well and Im looking forward to future vacations.

And Easter morning we headed over to my boss's house for a quick egg hunt and playdate at Anderson Park in Redmond with Betty Kate where they are currently celebrating 50 years of something or other and so there were 50 tree socks :)
