Dentist Appointment

I think I count this visit as the 'real' first time to the dentist. Last time they didnt do much of anything and this time he had the full gammit. It cracks me up that Nathan can't stand to get anything on his hands, glue.. paint... nothing sticky... has a narrow list of food that he is willing to eat and will throw up on you if you give him anything else.. was morbidly afraid of elevators and escalators forever...cant hear a dog bark without flipping out.. And yet he lay there like it was nothing at all and had his teeth cleaned and flossed, air suction and all, and even x-rays.

He popped up with a very minor cavity which we will head back in for in a couple of weeks but other then that they always love how much space he has between his teeth. We were also gifted with a copy of the x-ray to take home as a trophy lol. He was ecstatic to see that it was back to back Dora episodes on the tv over his chair :) Ally had her 'first' visit too. They just basically tell you not to put them to bed with a bottle so that formula wont pool in their mouths and give them cavities. Since she only had the one tooth poking out, and not even fully in either, she just took a look around her mouth and told me which ones she thought were coming in next. Even though Ally has had a mouth full of bumps, the bumps have chosen to come in an orderly way. Her bottom middle first and then top middle next. Probably either side of the middles after that and then the canines and 1 year molars. So basically the complete norm for kids as far as order of teeth arriving. Sigh. I dream of a drool and diaper free house
