August/September

August was a busy month for us since we took Nathan on his first vacation to Texas. Some things that I remember and noted are:

You started pushing on my hands to scoot your body forward so I can feel you building strength. Over the next 2-3 weeks you learned to curl your toes and push your own feet forward into a crawl. Which of course would land you on your face since you couldnt figure out how to use your arms yet. You can roll towards me when you are on your back.

When you are in your carseat (which is the only thing you'll let me put you in while I shower) you crane your head to look up at the ceiling and also behind you if Im standing there.

You screamed bloody murder when we got on the airplane to Texas as it was a red eye flight but passed out as soon as the plane was in the air. 

When we got back home from the trip I discovered you could hold your bottle by yourself and as of September 4th you will feed the milk to yourself entirely.

For some reason your favorite item is your burp cloth (although your dino and squeaky worm are close seconds). You love to fling it around all over the place and it keeps you well entertained. You outgrew your swing and we introduced you to the high chair. You laugh alot now and are very fiesty. You love stomach raspberries.. We took the foam wedge out of the crib because (Sept 7) you tried to wiggle off of it.

You sat tripod for the first time. It was uncomfortable for you so you arent quite ready but getting close. You chat alot but mostly all 'a ga' and ohhh. Youre pretty robust with your shots. No fevers etc. Your schedule is pretty much a 3 hours cycle.

September 9th/10th we took you to your first baseball game. We decked you out in full Mariners attire and everyone you met doted on you. You learned to roar with the crowd which was hillarious unfortunately you kept yelling once we got home.

Sept 14th I had surgery on my foot and you chose that night to start teething. You have buckets and buckets of drool. I always have to put a burp cloth on my shirt when you are in your carrier otherwise Im soaked.

We are moving into a house in Kirkland soon so you can have your own room.
